- Friday 2 October, [postponed 1 week from 25 Sept to avoid clash with Dr Drexel lecture] then 9 and 23 October. 7 to 8:30 pm. Friday Conversation Group meets in the Library. (the meetings are held on the second and fourth Fridays of each month). The Study text is Christianity as Mystical Fact 3rd edition. Chap 5 p110. "The Wisdom of the Mysteries and the Myth"
- Sunday 18 October, 7 pm. Eurythmy Aotearoa Graduation performance in Taikura's Hall.
Later in the year:
- First Saturday of every month, from 9:30 am. School of Spiritual Science. 3 October; 7 November; 5 December.

RACHEL HORSFALL
On Friday, 25 September at 9.45pm, Rachel Horsfall passed away peacefully at Duart House where she had been living for several weeks.
Her funeral will be held at Beth Shan Funeral Home in Hastings, corner of Maraekakaho and Orchard Roads, Stortford Lodge, at 10.30am, Friday, 2nd October.
If anyone wants to sit with Rachel, they would need to contact Beth Shan Funeral Home [06-8703399] and arrange the viewing with them.
Following the Christian Community Funeral Service, memories and addresses will be shared and live-streamed for those family and friends unable to attend.
Afterwards, refreshments will be provided at 3 Lovat Street, Havelock North.

Festival appreciation
I would like to convey my warm appreciation to the preparation group for the Spring Festival celebration last Sunday evening.
Festivals bring the moment in time to our consciousness, allowing that moment to continue to live within us as we go about our daily lives.
Festivals nourish us on so many levels with those elements so intrinsic as sustenance for the soul and for the physical body, light – sometimes carried by the candle, beauty as expressed in the aesthetically prepared space (and yes, even down to the ironed silks), and the content, appropriate and thought-provoking, along with the duration, not too long but just right.
Thank you for an inspired festival evening of fellowship and joyful participation.
